RK University was founded in 2009. Rajkot, Gujarat, is the home of RKU. It has ties to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). AICTE has approved RKU. The University Grants Commission recognises RKU. RKU aspires to be a premier educational institution that prepares students to be responsible global citizens who are attentive to the needs of others in their community. RKU belongs to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
RKU provides diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees in Management, Computer Applications, Engineering, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Science. RKU offers admission to these courses every year.

Nestled among lush green, pollution-free environments, the RKU Rajkot campus is over 100 acres, providing students ample space to learn and grow. - The security of their students is paramount to the management at RKU. For this reason, there is 24 hour CCTV surveillance and late-night escort service available on the campus.

RK University Events And Clubs
A number of clubs organized by RKU ensure that students have enough time and opportunity for recreation along with academics. This leads to the all-around development and growth of students which is helpful in maintaining a healthy work-life balance during later years of their lives. Cultural activities, sports events, debates, panel discussions, field trips, and picnics are some common activities that take place on campus from time to time.
This also gives the students and staff of RK University the opportunity to bond with each other and foster healthy student mentor bonds.The Student Organization Advisory Council (SOAC) at RKU is a body set up with the intention of allowing students to flourish while expressing the various talents they possess.
